RICHMOND, Mo. — There will be a new head coach for Richmond High School volleyball this coming fall. Former assistant coach Katelyn Jeffers has been elevated to the head job after her first season on the Lady Spartans’ staff.
Jeffers started her high school volleyball career with a stellar 4 years as a player at Lawson. From 2007 to 2010, she was a multiple-time All-District and KCI All-Conference selection. Jeffers also still holds the Lady Cardinals’ record for most aces in a single match.
Prior to coach at Richmond, Jeffers was a club volleyball coach with North Storm VBC. In a statement released on the Richmond High School Facebook page, Jeffers said, “I am looking forward to building on the foundation of the program and competing at a high level in the years ahead. My goal is to foster a culture of discipline, resilience, and belief as the Spartans continue to grow and pursue excellence.”
