HARRISBURG, Mo. — Former Meadville Lady Eagle and current Tipton Lady Cardinal Madison Carvajal scored her 2,000th career point during Tipton’s 67-38 road win over Harrisburg on Monday.
Carvajal began her high school career at Meadville, where she helped lead the Lady Eagles to a 59-1 record and a state championship. Following her sophomore season, Carvajal transferred to Tipton after her father and then-head coach, Steve Carvajal, accepted the athletic director position in the Tipton School District.
Carvajal has been a key contributor for a Lady Cardinals team that finished third in Class 2 in 2025 and is currently ranked No. 1 in the latest Missouri Basketball Coaches Association girls basketball poll.
